2024 Pushcart Prize Nominations

Hello again readers and submitters!

Elena here, back with another exciting update. It’s that time of year to announce our Pushcart Prize nominees! We are excited to be nominating for our second year and would like to send our warm congratulations to Carol E. Anderson, Allister Nelson, Subarna Mohanty, Reyzl Grace, E. N. Díaz, and Shaun Anthony McMichael!

Not only did they create stellar pieces of writing, we were impressed with the range of topics and styles: from queer love to dangerous demons, youth mentorship to cats in mosques, speculative poetry to creative non-fiction to flash fiction. The six pieces we nominated this year are vivid in imagery and raw with emotion.

We hope you will enjoy these as much as we did. Take a read below and share widely : )
