Shitpot

I can see how, as individuals, we might not learn from our mistakes but
society as a whole? It feels like we’re going backwards in time when
people walked on poorly made mud roads and threw our own shit out the
window onto the streets below.

Bean counter

Each has their own set of complaints about how the office should run and I
am the void for which they scream into. It is an endlessly echoing chamber
that vibrates down through my crumbling soul.

JFC

People seem to get way excited for Jesus chicken. I mean, like, Christmas
morning excited. The younger crowd, sometimes I want to slap them for
being so obnoxiously, giddy-excited. Their voices haunt the air ten
cubicles over. But honestly, I think my aggravation comes from losing the
giddy excitement of my youth.


Ken Tomaro is the self-proclaimed Poet Laureate of the Cleveland sewer system, whose work reflects everyday life with depression. His poetry has appeared in several online and print journals and explores the common themes we all experience. Sometimes blunt, often dark, but always grounded in reality.
