Callie Thomason French works as a bookseller in the Tacoma area where she lives with her wife and their hoard of animals. Callie was raised in southern New Mexico where she earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a M.Eng in Civil Engineering, and is in the final stages of her PhD in Civil Engineering. Callie’s writing is heavily influenced by nature, her queerness, and her evolving understanding of family. When she isn’t writing, or managing transportation programs for the University of New Mexico, Callie spends her time telling people the mountain is out and coaching roller derby.
