Breton Lalama is a writer, performer and filmmaker committed to enriching and diversifying queer and trans representation in storytelling. his work has been published and shown internationally, including in Contemporary Verse 2, Breaking Bread Magazine, and Playwrights Canada Press. the film he co-wrote, really happy someday, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and is currently doing the film festival circuit, where it just won Best Canadian Feature and Best Screenplay (Whistler). he is the proud co-founder of The Spindle Films Foundation, an initiative to support gender diverse Canadian filmmakers. he also sits on the Pink Triangle Press Advisory Council.
