Marie Magnetic (b. 1989) is a Jewish, Blackfoot Indigenous, queer, and neurodivergent artist currently residing in Chicago. Growing up in a small town in southwestern Michigan helped to shape her values as she witnessed friends and family experience addiction, mental health issues, poverty, and other forms of systemic disadvantage. Marie considers the experiences of being othered while reflecting on the mundane, the morose, and the magnificently mad. Her art focuses on neurodivergence, feminist issues, and sociopolitical commentary.
