I joined the most well-adjusted band in America.
My fault for believing. After twenty days
and twenty nights I lost my lease on life with them.
From them on, I was writing my way towards a home,
where joy would simply happen.
Karma works in these sets of circumstances.
The new offer, I could join just by clicking and liking.
It was tempting. I was living in a city
which danced at night like a castle made of skulls.
Falling through unvarnished trap doors,
I broke fire codes but found courage to tend to wounds.
This was when I decided to begin my summer tour.
